What?! There are NINE types of reinvention?

Uncategorized Jan 24, 2021

Recently, I was asked by a wonderful podcast host on what constitutes  "good reinvention."

Should it always be a monumental, revolutionary, breakthrough kind of change?

Or could it possibly be a more manageable incremental improvement?

My answer got him so surprised that he chose it as the main quote to advertise the podcast.

(And those of you who already read The Chief Reinvention Officer Handbook will remember page 180).

Our research indicates at least nine different types of reinvention - which differ in both scope and intensity, as our wonderful Reinvention Portfolio Canvas suggests :

Understanding the variety of options available to you - and being able to choose which type of reinvention is the most fitting to your needs right now is the key to successful reinvention.

So, to help you with this task in both career and company reinvention, we've spent an hour discussing:

✅ WHY reinventing your skillset is going to become one of the most important skills of the 21st century?

✅ WHAT kind of reinvention you might need to make? What are the 9 different ways to reinvent?

✅ HOW to find the best ways to adapt your skillset for the future?

While the focus of our discussion was about career reinvention, the data we shared and the insights offered can be applied to small or large businesses, product, process, and business model reinventions.

So, I invite you to listen to the podcast here>>>

And as you explore your reinvention options, hit "Reply" and tell me where on the canvas do you see yourself in 2021 - which of the 9 types of reinvention do you see is most important and helpful to you and your organization this year.

I can't wait to hear some deep insights.
