There is no question that COVID-19 is a major disruption for all of us.

The level of uncertainty is through the roof.

And if you are anything like me, you got plenty of data, articles, and insights on what's going on with the virus and its many impacts on our lives.

So, today, I don't want to speak about the virus itself - but instead share nine COVID-19 reinvention stories to give us a chance to breathe in, get some hope, and even an occasional smile.

So, what amazing reinvention are happening today?

#1 In France, the luxury conglomerate LVMH—which owns Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, and Celine - now produces free hand sanitizer for hospitals that desperately need it:

#2 In Ireland, the country’s health regulatory body is now testing the 3D-printed ventilator that came from an open innovation project that only took 1 week to develop a prototype:

#3 In Germany, Audi has made a decision to "separate" their iconic logo rings to promote the idea of a safe physical distance to stop the spread of the virus:

#4 In Italy, volunteers managed to 3D-print valves that were desperately needed for coronavirus treatments...

...while others are reinventing scuba masks (that's our story #5):

#6 In the US, Los Angeles Apparel is one of many companies that has refurbished its factory to make masks (with a help of academic researches testing fabric properties for particle filtration) - and in addition to supplying hospitals, they take a portion of proceeds from retail to donate to police and other services:

#7 In Italy, an existing online platform was reinvented to allow members of the public to buy food from restaurants and send it to the hospitals. This not only helps the medical staff - but also keeps many restaurants and bars that would otherwise have closed in business:

#8 Students and teachers all over the world converted to entirely remote, online education in a matter of days:

And finally, reinvention story #9 is every single one of us, all over the world, reinventing our lives to stay at home and make sure we stop the spread of the virus:

If these stories are any indication, we will be all right.

P.S. Many of these stories come from our amazing global community gathered inside our private Facebook group, Reinvention Society. If you have a story, share here!
